how to start this without sounding trite..... just a place to maybe, just maybe write something profound. actually.... reading thru a random sampling of blogs and i find that there is a lot of crap out there.. dang. anyway, my purpose for starting this was to give a forum for my "oh so opinionated" self. throw some thoughts, insights and feelings out there and see what happens.
thanksgiving eve. we're going to spend tomorrow with kurt's family. that is always a good time. and after a few glasses of wine we should undoubtedly get into a political or religious discussion. hehe. i wonder how they're feeling about their man bush now. 2800 or so dead americans and god only knows how many iraqis. but, i am thankful tonite. i am thankful that the dems have taken over congress. i am thankful that bush only has 2 years left. i am hopeful that this fundamentalist tide running thru america fizzles out. organized religion has done a lot to fuck up humanity over the millennia.
